1. Platform Usage

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are using StormLock on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

1.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

1.3 Acceptable Use

You agree to use StormLock only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use our services to file fraudulent takedown requests, harass others, or interfere with the platform's operation.

2. Services

StormLock provides digital content protection services including but not limited to content monitoring, infringement detection, DMCA takedown filing, platform enforcement, and analytics reporting. Service availability and features may vary by subscription plan.

3. Legal Obligations

3.1 Content Ownership

By registering content for protection, you represent and warrant that you are the rightful owner or authorized representative of the content. Filing false claims may result in account termination and legal liability.

3.2 Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including copyright laws, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and equivalent international regulations. StormLock acts as your authorized agent for enforcement purposes.

3.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold StormLock harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, including claims related to false or inaccurate takedown requests.

4. Subscription & Billing

Paid services are billed on a recurring basis according to your selected plan. You may cancel at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Limitation of Liability

StormLock provides its services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm our platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases immediately.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
